Moving to Islamabad

An year ago, we came to Islamabad with our father because of his job, in the beginning, it was just supposed to be business trip for my father, and a family trip for us, that turned into a five year residence opportunity for all of us, we took the opportunity, and planned to live here for five years.
It was all so exciting, that we didn't even thought about Karachi in the beginning, this didn't meant we had turned our backs to the city we were born in, but it was just for some time, when we saw a lot of greenry everywhere, a lot of parks, and most of all, the empty swing areas in the parks, and all that was so rare to be seen in Karachi. But as time passed, we started missing Karachi, and all our friends, and cousins living there, And we came to know it's not gonna be that easy to leave the city we had spent so much time in, and move to a totally strange city. But we gradually settled in Islamabad.
We did our first ever Eid outside Karachi, we did missed all our relatives, but thanks to technology, we could talk to them on video calls. Meanwhile, we had also made some friends in Islamabad, whom we spent our Eid festive with, it was also a fun experience to have something else than visiting our relatives, and attending parties on Eid, we did outdoor cooking, and visited some mountain side.
Then, a short while after Eid, another really memorable event took place, that we'll surely remember our entire lives, we moved to a really big house with just a couple of essential items, we had no additional sofas, tables, shelves, and dishes in particular, except for 4-5 plates, a frying pan, 3-4 bowls, and a couple of spoons, and mugs. We also had small carpet, and 4 mattresses to sleep on, it was also a bit weird to live in such a big house, with just a bit of  stuff, but on the other hand, it had a bright side too, at least, we didn't had to do much struggling in cleaning the house, we would just, sweep the floor, and that was all, cleaning done!, but back in Karachi, we had a lot of furniture, plus, the accessories, and it was a disaster to clean up the house, especially, on emergency basis, when some unexpected guests were coming.
After spending 4 months in that house, we made another shifting to "Mud house". The main project for which my father had came to Islamabad. In the beginning, we had pictured it to be a part of the typical sort of village lifestyle in Pakistan, but soon enough, we came to know it would be an intermediate of modern life, and village life, it was also a fun experience, though, we had to sacrifice some habits, but we did it easily, meanwhile, we also visited Karachi for Bakra Eid, and also made some friends in Islamabad, and soon enough, we settled in.
Sometimes, I do miss Karachi, or wonder what we might have been doing if we would've been living in Karachi, or what we would've never have experienced, or seen in Karachi. And mostly time flows through studying, reading, writing, or thinking about Karachi, hoping to visit it soon.
