The spirit of towers

Ali was so excited, and why shouldn't he be. He was visiting Pakistan for the first time in his life, he had always heard stories about Pakistan from his parents, but had never seen Pakistan. It was one of his most wanted wishes to see it in real, and finally, this year his parents decided to visit Pakistan.

Ali was a seven-year-old boy who lived in Paris. His parents were both Pakistani, they came to Paris just two weeks after their marriage, and since then they never got a chance to visit Pakistan. Ali spent seven years of his life in Paris, listening to stories about Pakistan and waiting to see it one day.
The next morning, they left for the airport and one hour after they were on the plane. Their plane landed at Lahore airport after 3hours of flight. Once they were out of the airport, they took a taxi and headed for his grandparent's house, they both greeted them warmly, at lunch they were served some spicy qorma and biryani, though Ali had never eaten this much spicy meals before he liked it even more than Francesi meals he had always been eating before. After lunch, they went to explore Lahore the first place they went was Minar-e-Pakistan, at the first glimpse of Minar-e-Pakistan Ali quickly said: ''Mom, Dad, our Eifel Tower is even higher than Minar-e-Pakistan, right?, when I'll grow up I'll come back to rebuild Minar-e-Pakistan even higher than Eifel tower". After exploring different cities of Pakistan, they went back to Paris, but the candle of Ali's mission was still lighting in Ali's little heart.
After thirteen years, when he grew up a lot, he came back to Pakistan for the completion of his mission. He showed his plan to many great government officers, but everyone said that the plan is really great but they can't afford this much money. After convincing a lot of people, he finally gave up and decided to go back to Paris. The next day when he had a flight back to Paris, he decided to have one last look at Minar-e-Pakistan. He woke up early in the morning and went straight to Minar-e-Pakistan, he was standing in front of Minar-e-Pakistan, with tears in his eyes, he didn't even realize that he started crying. Suddenly, he felt a weak hand on his shoulder, he turned back and saw an old man. He had wrinkly skin and all of his hairs had turned white, he flashed him a warm smile and asked: ''My son why are you crying?''. Ali replied:''I had a mission since I was seven when I saw Minar-e-Pakistan for the first time, I decided to build it even higher than Eifel Tower, but now when I came for the completion of my mission I can see it can never be completed.'' The old man was listening carefully to Ali's story after he was finished, the old man said:'' My boy towers always stand high because of spirits, not because of height. This Minar-e-Pakistan is a great memory of the sacrifices our ancestors gave for their generations and especially youngsters like you, who love this holy land by their hearts, my son, Minar-e-Pakistan's spirit is a lot greater than Eifel Tower's spirit, come let's make it even greater.'' Ali seemed to understand each and every word of the old man, he nodded and pulled out the flight ticket to Paris and it apart into pieces, the bits of paper floated in the air and Ali could imagine Minar-e-Pakistan rising higher, higher, even higher than Eifel Tower.
